More offshore gigs for Dockwise
Dockwise Shipping has bagged separate deals worth a combined $65 million for rig transportation and platform installation.
The transportation giant has won contracts worth $20 million for the delivery of a semi-submersible rig and a jack-up drilling unit to Australia and Rotterdam, Netherlands. Work is due for completion In the first half of 2010.
Dockwise was separately contracted to perform the float-over installation in the Far East for the topsides of an offshore platform. Work on the $45 million contract is scheduled for 2012.
Dockwise has five float-over contracts on its outstanding order book, including this latest deal.
