Extending reach: seismic player TGS
TGS streams ahead off Indonesia
Norwegian seismic outfit TGS said it was shooting a combined further 7300 kilometres of 2D data as part of its multi-client programme off Indonesia.
TGS said data would be gathered in three areas along the margins of the Sundaland offshore basin including areas off South Java, West Sumatra and Northwest Sumatra.
The shoot is being funded by pre-survey funding by industry players, TGS said.
The company said the new data would bring its 2D library off Indonesia to 108,000 kilometers of 2D data, plus 400,000 kilometres of bathymetric data and 1200 core samples from more than 1 million square kilometres of deep-water acreage.
