Remedial ESV passes sea trials

Bankrupt well services outfit Remedial Offshore said its first elevating support vessel Remedial ESV Solution has completed sea trials.

The vessel has arrived at Cosco Zhoushan shipyard to prepare for final jacking trials, Remedial said.

The Cyprus-based vessel owner has one other ESV under construction at Yantai Raffles Shipyard in China.

Both vessels, together with the two workover rigs being built in Houston, are offered for sale after Remedial filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US last month.
