US minnow GeoResources today reported 2001 net income of $42,000 on revenue of $3.98 million against net income of $1.4 million on revenue of $5.1 million the previous year.
The company blamed the decline squarely on lower commodity prices. GeoResources produced an average 416 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2001, down from 457 boepd. Total proven oil and gas reserves were 2.15 million boe at year-end 2001 versus 2.58 million boe a year earlier.
