Wintershall dishes Dutch job

By Upstream staff

Subsea 7 today received a letter of intent from Wintershall for work associated with the F16 gas project in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

The work, worth about $4 million, will be performed in two phases in water depths of up to 40 metres.

The first phase, to install the side tap protection structure, will be carried out at the turn of the year.

The second phase will take place in the third quarter of 2005 and includes the metrology, fabrication and installation of the F16A spoolpieces and the hydrotesting of pipelines.
