Siberian snuggle: between Siberian and Baltic as they enter into a joint venture

Siberian completes Baltic partnership

New York-based explorer Siberian Energy has successfully closed its joint venture with UK-based Baltic Petroleum.

The partnership will focus on developing four oil and gas blocks covering 635,000 acres and will participate in bidding for seven new licences in western Siberia.

The additional licences cover 700,000 acres and would potentially double Russian outfit Zauralneftegaz's current holdings.
