MOG to sip Tea for two

By Upstream staff

London-listed junior Mediterranean Oil & Gas (MOG) said today the Italian government has approved its development plan with Eni for the north Adriatic Tea and Guendalina gas fields.

The development plan includes tying back the Guendalina field to the Tea project.

The approval means operator Eni will now prepare updated feasibility studies and budgets to enable the joint venture to approve a decision to develop the Guendalina field based on the tie back to the Tea field and a connection to the Amelia production platform.

Eni holds an 80% stake in Guendalina, with MOG holding the remaining 20%.
