UK supermajor BP is continuing to invest in seismic imaging to assess new exploration opportunities around the world as the oil and gas industry slowly gets back to drilling.
"We have been sustaining a significant investment in seismic in the last few years despite the price drop," Howard Leach, BP's head of exploration, told a breakfast crowd at the CeraWeek conference in Houston on Wednesday.
