Investigations continue into the spill, which happened on Sunday 2 October following a technical issue with the facility’s production separation system.
BP said it is continuing to work with the UK authorities as it looks to restart production from Clair but no date for the resumption of production has yet been confirmed.
Output at the time of the incident was about 20,000 barrels per day.
