The US BSEE offshore regulator and US Coast Guard have signed four new cooperation agreements to fine-tune their joint collaborative efforts on the Outer Continental Shelf.
The pacts, called memoranda of agreement, cover a range of topics including civil penalties, oil discharge planning, preparedness and response and incident notifications and investigations.
The final agreement pertains to safety & environmental management systems (Sems) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
