Enbridge said it is eliminating 530 positions from its 11,000 staff, including 370 in Canada and 160 in the US.
In a statement, Enbridge spokeswoman Suzanne Wilton said the layoffs are part of an "enterprise-wide organisational review" launched in the first quarter of 2016.
