Launching the independent commission at the SPE Offshore Europe conference on Tuesday, Scottish Energy Minister Fergus Ewing said it will provide “a legacy of useful advice to the industry” regardless of which government is eventually in power.
Ewing said: “I am delighted to announce the establishment of this independent expert commission which will play a key role in shaping the framework for the oil and gas sector in an independent Scotland.
