Mexican regulators have pushed back the schedule for its second shallow-water bid offering deemed Round 2.1, now planning to host the event in June instead of March to give companies more time to evaluate the data.

The country's National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) indicated that the event will now be held on 19 June.

The deadline to register for the event will also be pushed back by about two months to 24 March, with final terms and conditions, which are still undergoing a comment period, published on 19 May.
