The well will be cased and suspended as a future oil producer after wireline logs found the column, which has a net oil pay of 2 metres, in the oil bearing sands of the Murta Formation.
Cuisinier North-1 reached a total depth of 2066 metres after it was spudded on 2 July. The well was the last of four drilled on the block during a drilling campaign between May and July, with Santos using the the Saxon rig 184.
