Another UGI subsidiary operates an LNG storage facility near Reading in Pennsylvania, which it says gives it the prospect of being an economic LNG source for companies operating in the area.
The company hopes its partnership will see Marcells operators make the switch from diesel, with UGI vice president of business development Matthew Dutzman noting EQT’s recently launched pilot programme to begin converting rigs to LNG.
