In Haynesville, the pair have agreed on a fixed-tariff system that will result in Chesapeake increasing its realised prices by 20 cents per thousand cubic feet of natural gas and the consolidation of two separate gathering systems into a single unit.

For its part, Chesapeake has promised to increase its drilling in the Haynesville and will put at least 140 new wells online by the end of 2017, which will allow the company to meet the volume commitments laid out in its original contract with Williams.
