Farris and Dan Wilks purchased a little over 3 million common shares of Trican in the past couple months, bringing their total ownership to almost 20.7 million shares – or 13.89% of the total company, according to a regulatory filing by their company Wilks Brothers.
The pair “has not made any determinations with respect to its role in the future” of Trican, the filing states.
