Deepstar, previously administrated by Chevron, has come under the leadership of the Offshore Operators Committee trade group, which has held meetings around Houston to discuss new ideas for the group.
A launch event is planned later in the spring.
“It’s really a push for creating a very efficient framework around joint industry projects, that they can move forward very rapidly and a very cost-effective model,” OOC executive director Evan Zimmerman told the audience at an industry event.
