Those pipes are typically joined with fusion, but a new mechanical joining method from Victaulic can join HDPE quicker and easier without sacrificing performance, according to the company.
Using the Refuse-to-Fuse method, couplings can be installed up to 10 times faster than fusing a joint, Victaulic says. There’s no equipment set-up or prep time, and joint completion time does not depend on atmospheric conditions.
