In its fleet status report, Ensco revealed that the expected window of delivery for the drillship DS-8 had been changed to the first quarter of 2015.
It had originally expected the rig to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.
No reasons were given for the delays.
The DS-8, which is based on the Samsung GF12000 hull design, is being built by Samsung at a cost of $645 million.
