US oil flows increased by 78,000 barrels per day to 8.43 million bpd, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its latest report.

The US averaged 7.45 million bpd of oil production last year, which is projected to jump to an average of 9.24 million bpd by 2015 as additional shale fields and offshore projects in the US Gulf of Mexico come online.
