The engineering and fabrication contractor will use the barge Intermac 600 to launch the 8400-tonne jacket while its heavy-lift vessel Derrick Barge 50 will carry out installation of the 3400-tonne deck and other platform components in a water depth of 400 feet at the field in the Bay of Campeche.
No value was given for the award, which will be booked in McDermott’s fourth-quarter backlog.
