Hoegh LNG of Norway plans to submit an application to build a receiving facility in Morecambe Bay off the UK’s north-west coast in the second quarter, nearly six months later than originally hoped.
“We remain in the permitting phase,” a spokesman said. “We are still collecting and evaluating local offshore data, which we had hoped we would have finished before the end of 2007.”
