The SPE Offshore Europe conference and exhibition, which was due to take place in Aberdeen next month, has been postponed in alignment with the Scottish Government’s guidance on the coronavirus situation.

The fresh postponement will come as a blow to organisers Reed Exhibitions and The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the wider industry and the city of Aberdeen after the pandemic also disrupted plans last year.

Offshore Europe was originally planned to go ahead last September but this was scaled down to a virtual conference at the time.
