More than a dozen workers have been removed from Shell's Nelson platform in the UK North Sea after a worker tested positive for coronavirus.
A Shell spokesperson said one worker tested positive after being demobilised on Friday 9 October.
Contact tracing then identified 14 people as having come into contact with the worker on board the platform.
These were then demobilised on Sunday as a precaution, Shell said.
"Our priority is the welfare of our people and the safe operations of all our businesses,” Shell said.
The Nelson platform is still producing.
