Thailand’s national upstream company PTTEP will continue its production operations in neighbouring Myanmar despite the US sanctions recently imposed on its partner, state-owned Myanma Oil & Gas Enterprise (MOGE), as the ruling junta continues to commit atrocities against civilians.

“The company has assessed the risks associated with the sanctions and cautiously put in place the mitigation plan to ensure the uninterrupted supply of natural gas,” PTTEP told Upstream.
