Japan’s Inpex will target net-zero emissions by investing up to 1 trillion yen ($8.66 billion) through to 2030 in projects including hydrogen and carbon capture, utilisation and storage while shifting away from oil towards gas.
The Inpex Vision @2022 strategy released on Wednesday lays out a long-term plan towards 2030 and 2050 as well as the company’s medium-term business strategy from 2022 to 2025.
