Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Petroleum claims it cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 25% over the past three years, led primarily by a greater focus on its global gas portfolio.

Its 2020 Annual Sustainability Report, released on Sunday, credited a “focus on long-term gas assets”.

“Our strategy is firmly rooted in maintaining a gas-biased portfolio, with natural gas accounting for lower GHG emissions relative to other forms of hydrocarbons,” it said.
