Marine contracting giant NOV has joined a £10 billion ($14 billion) energy megaproject that could halve current greenhouse gas emissions from Britain’s offshore oil and gas operations by 2025.

Cerulean Winds has named NOV as its first ‘delivery partner’ for the North Sea project that will utilise a vast fleet of floating wind turbines linked to an onshore hydrogen plant.
