Singaporean and Japanese companies are teaming up to collaborate on exploring how hydrogen can be a low-carbon alternative for Singapore.
Sembcorp Industries and Singapore LNG (SLNG) are among five local companies that have signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese duo Chiyoda and Mitsubishi to develop ways to use hydrogen as a green energy source.
The memorandum covers the research and development of technologies related to the importation, transportation and storage of hydrogen.
