South Korea’s SK Group will join Corio Generation and TotalEnergies with a stake in a 2 gigawatt-plus offshore wind portfolio that includes one of the world’s largest planned floating developments, the three companies announced.

Once the transaction has received regulatory approvals, SK ecoplant — the EPC and green energy focused arm of the SK Group conglomerate — will take an undisclosed share in the BadaEnergy portfolio of projects that span five fixed-bottom and floating developments off Ulsan and South Jeolla.
