Oil and gas giants BHP and Woodside, along with French multinational Engie, are among seven companies shortlisted for the next stage of Australia’s A$70 million (US$48.8 million) hydrogen funding round.

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (Arena) confirmed Monday BHP Woodside and Engie had been shortlisted - along with ATCO Australia, Macquarie Group, Australian Gas Networks and APT Management Services - for the next stage of the Renewable Hydrogen Deployment Funding Round.
