Siccar Point Energy is to delay pre-development work on the Cambo oilfield offshore the UK until next year due to “operational issues” and a closing weather window as Greenpeace protestors in kayaks staged a protest against an offshore vessel in Norway.

On Monday (23 August), two Greenpeace activists paddled out to Siem Offshore's Siem Day vessel, which the group claimed was set to depart a dock near Stavanger, Norway this week to install three conductor anchor nodes, known as CAN-ductors, at Cambo in the West of Shetland area.
