Moncla will start transporting its first platform workover rig, the Moncla 301, to Alaska later this month in "several" truckloads. The rig is destined for the Granite Point platform and is scheduled to rig up in late June, Moncla said in a statement on Thursday.
That rig and another, which Hilcorp owns, were both designed and built by Superior Derrick Services at its facility in Parks, Louisiana.
