Speaking to journalists at a London briefing, Eurasia Drilling vice president for marketing and investor relations Tom O’Gallagher said that horizontal drilling has been “a major trend in the industry this year” in Russia.
Horizontal drilling has increased by more than 50% so far in 2013 in Russia to represent 19% of all metres drilled compared to only 12% last year, O’Gallagher said.
