Anadarko pencils in gas sales for first of two Mozambique trains

This train, the first of two initially planned by Anadarko at the Afungi LNG park, is set to be fed by gas from the operator’s Prosperidade complex in Area 1. The operator has also made another gas discovery in Area 1 called Manta.

Chief executive Al Walker said:“We have reached multiple nonbinding heads of agreements for long-term LNG sales for about two-thirds of our first 5 million tonne per annum train.”
