The Armada Claire FPSO launched at Singapore's Keppel shipyard over the weekend and is expected to begin operations at the Apache-operated Balnaves oil and gas development, off Western Australia, during the second quarter.
Bumi Armada’s chief executive officer, Hassan Basma told reporters at the sailaway ceremony the vessel was expected to be hooked up and start production as early as April, adding the associated mooring, anchors and risers have already been installed at the field.
