The Oklahoma City-based company said its proved reserves grew to 1.08 billion barrels of oil equivalent at the end of 2013, an increase of 299 million boe or 38% compared to 2012.
The increase was driven primarily by two plays where Continental is especially prolific - the Bakken in North Dakota and Montana and the so-called South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (Scoop).
