The Calgary-based company, which is preparing a completion programme for the well, has a 100% stake on the 314,000-acre Cerro de Los Leones Concession in Argentina's Menzoda province and Neuquen basin.
Shares of the minnow were trading up 31.11% on the Canadian Venture Exchange Wednesday afternoon.
