JavierHinojosa, a senior manager at Pemex, told Upstream at the OTC Brasil event inRio de Janeiro that results from the well are due soon.
Thewell reached a depth below 6000 metres and Pemex has been studying the resultsfrom the well. Pemex used Seadrill’s semi-submersible West Pegasus to drill theprobe.
Indicationsare that the well is a major discovery, though Pemex has kept the results underwraps.
