KT Maritime will design, construct and operate three infield support vessels for the project which lies off the coast of Western Australia.
The company – a joint venture partnership between Kotug International and Teekay Shipping Australia – will supply three 42-metre vessels to help offloading production during the operational phase of the project.
The vessels will be specifically designed to meet the needs of the Prelude project, including tanker berthing and offshore support operations, for about 25 years.
