Constellation Oil Services is inching closer to landing a contract with Brazilian independent Enauta for the charter of a drilling rig to carry out a single-well programme on the Atlanta deep-water field in the Santos basin after submitting the lowest bid in the tender.

Enauta is currently producing at Atlanta via an early production system with three wells linked to the Altera Infrastructure-owned Petrojarl I floating production, storage and offloading vessel, and intends to bring a fourth well on stream.
