A Ghana-based operator is on the hunt for farm-in partners to help fund an exploration campaign targeting billions of barrels of potential resources.

Accra-based GOIL Offshore has operated the Deep Water Cape Three Points (DWCTP) block since 2019, during which time it has acquired about 3400 square kilometres of 3D seismic data and identified large drilling targets.

The deep-water acreage has a decent exploration postcode, located immediately southeast of Aker Energy’s delayed Pecan project and directly north of a block operated by AGM Petroleum where two discoveries have been made.
