State-controlled Indian company Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has launched the tendering process for its delayed Daman upside development project (DUDP) off the country’s western coast.

The company recently invited bids from leading domestic and international contractors for the offshore infrastructure required for the gas development project, two people familiar with the development told Upstream.

Technical and commercial offers are due for submission on 24 August, with ONGC expected to select its preferred contractor before the end of this year, one person said.
