Hardy Exploration & Production India (HEPI) has launched a fresh chase for a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for its operated PY-3 field concession in India’s east coast offshore Cauvery basin.
Two people familiar with the development told Upstream that HEPI — owned by India’s Invenire Energy — recently sought market enquiries for an FPSO required for the PY-3 operations.
“They [HEPI] have issued an expression of interest for the FPSO vessel, offering a firm charter of 1825 days, with an option to extend the contract for a similar period,” one source said.
