Brazilian state-controlled oil company Petrobras has received commercial offers in a tender for the decommissioning of disused and obsolete subsea equipment in the Campos basin, but the lowest bid could face disqualification.

Petrobras welcomed four proposals in a tender designed to collect discarded equipment and remnants left in the seabed from some of the company’s deactivated production platforms in Campos.

Local player Superpesa Maritima finished on top after submitting a proposal worth 215.9 million reais ($42 million), which rival industry sources described as too low.
