Brazilian state-controlled oil company Petrobras has welcomed four commercial proposals in a tender for the lease of about 321,600 square kilometres covering the Inhauma shipyard in Rio de Janeiro state.
Petrobras in 2022 tried to lease the exact same area at Inhauma, as well as give access to all installation and existing infrastructure to a third-party, but failed to reach an agreement.
