Brazilian state-controlled company Petrobras is pressing ahead with a batch of new orders for floating production, storage and offloading vessels to “revitalise” operations at mature fields in the Campos and Santos basins.

With the tender for one revitalisation unit already in the market and another three expected to hit the streets in the second half of next year, Petrobras continues to present offshore industry suppliers with an exciting pipeline of new business prospects, while also raising the possibility that several older FPSOs will be retired from the operator’s fleet.
