Brazilian oil giant Petrobras has approached the market with a new tender to contract a fresh batch of flexible risers to serve its Parque das Baleias deep-water development in the prolific Campos basin.

Petrobras already has four floating production, storage and offloading vessels on stream in Parque das Baleias offshore Brazil and has chartered a fifth unit — the Maria Quiteria FPSO — with Malaysia’s Yinson Holdings.

The Brazilian operator is seeking 80.1 kilometres of flexible risers and flowlines for oil production, water injection and gas lift to attend the Maria Quiteria FPSO at Parque das Baleias, according to subsea sources.
