QatarEnergy has pushed back the tender process for a prized offshore contract involving further development of its Idd El-Shargi North Dome (ISND) offshore oilfield.

Two people with direct knowledge of the bid process told Upstream that the Qatari state-owned company recently informed the interested players that the deadline for bid submissions has been delayed until 15 May.

“There’s a delay of more than a month, as bidders were preparing to submit offers during the first week of April,” one person said.
